How awning walls can spice up your camping experience

Blog

While on a camping trip, you'll often find yourself very active during the day. After exploring the surroundings, interacting with others, and walking over long distances, you'll most likely be exhausted by the time the sun goes down.

Awning walls provide an excellent form of shelter during camping trips. They can be attached to the side of your caravan or other vehicle to provide more room for accommodation. You can use them during the day for an afternoon nap, or during the night for a restful sleep.

In addition to the accommodation space that they provide, awning walls also contribute to a better camping experience in the following ways.

Waterproof properties keep the moisture out

Most awning walls are made of polyester, PVC, or other similar materials that are waterproof. They prevent the awning from becoming damp during wet weather. And if it rains, the awning wall can also keep water out of the campsite and ensure that you still get the rest that you need to keep going on the next day.

An awing wall can be turned into a full shelter by adding front and side attachments to the main supporting frame. You therefore have the convenience of using anywhere between one to four walls at a time.

Durable surface resist strong winds

Awning walls are also quite sturdy and durable. When properly set up, they aren't easily blown by the wind or incoming breeze. They can be securely fastened to your vehicle and provide a comfort zone against strong gusts of air.

Easy attachment to caravans and vehicles create stability

Awning walls also come with fully mountable kits that make it easy for you to attach them to the side of your vehicle in a short amount of time. If you need to set it up right before it rains, this can be done in just a few minutes. In addition, most mounting kits come with strong metallic hooks or zip ties, which will not easily detach from the vehicle.

Filter UV rays to protect happy campers

To enhance the camping experience, awning walls can filter out harmful UV rays from the sun on a hot day. They are constructed using UPF materials that protect your eyes and skin while camping. If the sun is blazing, simply set up the awning wall and seek shelter until you're ready to spring into action again. And because there are multiple sizes to choose from, no one on the camping trip will miss out on the excellent shelter that these flexible structures provide.

Enjoying Sports in the Great Outdoors

Hey! When was the last time you went outdoors and have some fun? I used to just sit around my home and do nothing except watch TV. However, all that changed one day, I decided it was time to go outside. I started by going out for long walks. Next, I signed up for a shooting club and learnt how to hit a target at 500 metres. I then decided to hit the ocean so I could learn to fish. I had a fantastic day out there on the waves. Having spent the last 6 months embracing the outdoors and various sports, I decided to start this blog.
